We are The German-American Social and Cultural Klub of Central Indiana.
Much more than just the group that runs Oktoberfest weekend, our Klub celebrates our German-American heritage all year long, now 50 years strong.
The German American Klub Indianapolis celebrates and promotes the Indianapolis area German American community through social, cultural, and educational activities, and passes the torch of our German American heritage to future generations.
We host Indy’s German Oktoberfest in German Park each September, Indianapolis’ only German Spring Festival “Frühlingsfest” each Mayday Weekend, a variety of seasonal, themed dinner-and-drink evenings throughout the year, and our exclusive “KulturAbend” series of German-American cultural topics.
We also are the home of the Edelweiss Restaurant and Biergarten in Historic German Park, serving authentic German fare and outstanding biers.
Through our activities, we pass the torch of our German American heritage to future generations.
