German Growers of Indianapolis Presentation 7:30
February 5 @ 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm| Free
The German immigrants who settled on Indianapolis’ Southside developed a network of greenhouses that, by the 1940s, rivaled most other cities in the nation in “acres under glass.” Many of our GAK members are descendants of these immigrants. Come join us on Tuesday, February 5 for a presentation and exhibits by Daniel Gonzales of the Indiana Historical Society. Feel free to bring some of your own mementos and stories to share!
